Today i am going to write few simple steps for you guys to play ISO/CSO PSP game in PSvita. While we go in the steps it is expected that you have already got an user mode exploit. Latest exploits were found on Monster Hunter, Urbanix and Mad Blocker Alpha.
The method of ISO/CSO playing through this is called the hard method. But this is the best method you can have as per my opinion. There is an easy method other than this but i am not going to discuss it in here.
1. Go to your save data folder (WHERE YOUR EXPLOIT IS LOCATED) in your PC. It is located in “Documents/PS Vita/PSAVEDATA/….
2. Now make a folder called ‘PSP’
3. Next open the ‘PSP’ folder you have created and create a new folder inside ‘PSP’ folder called ‘GAME’ . Remember ‘ ALL IN CAPITALS’
4. Now download ‘NesterJ’ and copy this homebrew app to ‘GAME’ folder you have created.
5. Now rename ‘NesterJ’ to 8 CAPITAL LETTER WORD. Lets say ‘NESTERJP’
6. Now again created a new folder inside ‘GAME’ folder and give it the name of your PSP ISO/CSO . Lets say ‘SILENTHI’ . Remember all CAPITALS and each folder you create in ‘GAME’ folder must be 8 letters CAPITAL
7. Now copy your PSP ISO/CSO to the folder you have created.
8. Download homebrew application called ‘PSPFILER’
9. Rename PSPFILER to 8 letter CAPITAL word like did before and copy it to ‘Game’ folder
10. Download and install WinRAR
11. Right click ‘PSP’ folder you have created in save data exploit folder and click ‘add to archive’
12. Click zip in right side and rename the ‘archive name’ to ‘FILENAME.ZIP’ remember all in CAPITALS and 8 letters
13. Now select the compression method to ‘stock’ and hit ok.
Its’s all set. Now connect PSvita to PC and click copy the save data through content manager on PSvita. When it ask to overwrite click overwrite.
After copying over you can load the exploit. Here i am guessing that you have latest TN-B. You will see Nester J on it. Now click it. It will ask to extract.
After extracting is over open PSP filer and create a folder called ISO in the root and move the ISO/CSO game in the game folder to ISO folder. After it completes copying you can exit PSPFILER and now you will have your game waiting when you open the exploit.

You guys may here about Sony investing on a new version of psp. Rumors talks about the new version as PSP2 which they said that it’s real powerful and they could also have the possibility to play PS2 games. During this month sony have announced the new psp which they call NGP. According to hardware reviewers the hardware configuration of the new PSP is real powerful and it could play high graphically based games and it could lead a real success in the market.
COST
According to my researches NGP is gonna cost high in the market compare to Nintend 3D’s and it is also possible that it could cost more than the money you could spend on to buy a PS3. Therefore you have to save single penny you have today to buy a NGP. The overall cost of the NGP will be near around $350.
Specification
The specification is really interesting and is to be revealed as days go on. Some says that NGP have the possibility of cloud computing of games which can play games directly connected to PS3. Therefore it’s an high end machine.

The custom firmware he made refers to M33 which is referred to the month of March as per many blogger. March 2011 is also going to be a cool month with the release of most awaiting phone for the gaming lovers. Once it was a dream of some people but never thought it going to come on their way but Sony made the dreams of them fulfilling. It is named as XPERIA PLAY.
Xperia Play is a mobile phone with the first ever gaming pad like PSP. It is loaded with Android OS and included features of PSP in the game module. It loaded with Google Android version 2.3 which we call as Ginger Bread, the latest version of Android Os for a mobile phone. It have a Ram of 512MB from which 380MB is allowed for user and other for system use. More than that it have a 1GIG processor. Therefore this mobile phone is powerful enough to load PSP games without any doubt if it have a good graphic hardware which cannot be confirmed yet.
As we look in to other features it have a Camera of 5MP, Internal memory of 400MB, Java through third party applications, 4 inch screen which is huge and 31 hours of music play. So, it is an promising mobile phone from Sony Ericssion for those who need it badly. I can say this portable device is great to enjoy and it will be worth buying other than any other device. So will be looking forward the price range of it and if i got any other information i will share it with you.
PSP updates have been hitting the internet very rapidly theses days. Many updates and hacks, new firmwares and so on. All of theses hitting hacks have been arises as a result of TN-HEN, a homebrew enabler which have the capability to access kernel mode. Unlike the HBL (Half Byte Loader) TN-HEN gives the direct access to install custom firmwares. Here is the latest updates of TN-HEN for Firmware 6.20. If you have a firmware version lower than 6.20 i recommend to update to 6.20.

Hint – There is no HEN released for the firmware 6.37 for the moment.
This could be a good news for the psp players. Total_Noob have released the promising Hen which could possibly load Hombrew games and application without any worries. It can load Hombrew games and applications including PSP Go and latest 3000 models. But be aware that there are two types of PSP 3000 models. One is 3g version and other is 4g version. If you are facing difficulties loading the Hombrew applications or screen is freezing you need to apply the patch i have included in the download links.
As soon as Total_Noob releases the HEN an ISO loader also have been releases for the TNHen-A which could load all most all PSP games. But you need to remember one thing. Total_Noob’s TNHen-A will have to be activated if you restarted or PS screen freezes or if the Hombrew did not started. This type of hack does not work like CFW. So you need to start the TNHen every time you re-start the PSP.

2. If the above did not work on your PSP 3000 series you are having PSP 3000 4g version. Therefore you need to download this one which include a patch for this type of models. You can download this one from here

Many guys have purchased their own choice of PSP for the enjoyment of entertainment. Most of them do not think about the best method while choosing the type and version of PSP which makes them board about the PSP after a while. But those who buy it with knowing all those things enjoy the full entertainment with Playing ISO from memory stick, running Hombrew applications, Enjoying downloaded games and movies without the use of UMD drive.
Therefor here is some few things you must know before you buy a PSP
1. PSP 1000 Series
All psp of 1000 series can be hacked with pandora battery and custom firmware except TA -88v3.
2. PSP 2000 Series
All psp 2000 series including TA-88V3 can be hacked with the firmware 5.03 and below. Therefore remember to check the firmware version of the model you buy. The best method to hack this type of models are using chickhen. If you have bought an old version of psp, a PSP with firmware version 4.00 and below, you can also hack it by using pandora method. But i recommend always to use chickhen method which is less risky.
3. PSP 2000 Series with firmware above 5.03.
These type of PSP have not been able to hack till to date. Main reason for this is Sony have patched the hardware loophole which gave acces to Custom Firmwares to install on previous releases of PSP. But you will be able to run Hombrew applications with the use of Patapon Demo hack.
4. PSP 3000 Series
Well, till today no one was able to hack this model except 5.03 and below. If you have bought PSP 3000 with firmware 5.03 and below you will be able to hack. But personally i have experienced inconsistency after installing Custom Firmwares to this type of models. But you can enjoy Hombre applications with Patapon Demo hack.
5. PSP Go.
So far no one have got access to hack this model. But there is a great hope. Eventhough you can’t hack this model you can enjoy Homebrew applications and games with the help of PSP Demo hack.
Therefore before you are planning to buy a PSP model get some information regarding the models so that you can enjoy full entertainment. For those who are planning to buy a PSP i recommend to wait till Total_Noob releases his HEN which could do some magic in PSP 3000 and PSP Go.
Many of you guys might have experienced Eboot files which PSP supports. Mainly all Sony Official firmware release as Eboot files which is used to upgrade firmware version of the portable genius game player. In order to play PSX games on your PSP you need to change the ISO file or the CD version of your game to an Eboot file, which sometimes people confuse. I have seen many people searching and spending lot of time to know how they can load such a PSX file to play in a PSP. Therefore here is a simple guide for you to make an PSX Eboot file to load in a PSP.
Making an Eboot from a Disk
1. Download and install full version of IsoBuster( In Trial version cannot read data form CD all other functions can be used)
2. Insert the CD, ISO buster will automatically read the CD and will display it’s contents.
3. Now select the parent directory and give a right click. Now you will see the options you have.
4. Select .bin or.iso converting function and select the output location and convert it. Now you will have an ISO file or a Bin file.
5. Download PSX Eboot converter from her. You do not have to install this tiny tool from here
6. Run the downloaded software and select the Iso file from it and click to create button in it.
7. Now you will get an Eboot file which can be loaded from psp after installing a hombrew PSX emulator to PSP for which i will write a tutorial later in the blog.
