Yesterday i came across a problem in my new blackberry storm. Even though the phone is an global and unlocked phone it shows a message in the front screen saying “activation required”. Even it show this message, i was able to make calls receive SMS . Therefore i decided not to give much attention to that. But later i understood that this message appears on front screen because my mobile number is not recognized by the BlackBerry storm and i tried to solve the problem.
In order to remove this message you have to follow the following steps
1. press ##000000 from the BlackBerry storm and press the call button. Within a second a menu will appear.
2. Enter your country code and area code in it
3. Enter your mobile number including country code and area code
4. Now save using the blackberry icon button
5. Now your phone will re-boot and it will show your carrier name in the field.
It’s being many years since we have not experienced any new operating system from a new company. We have experienced Windows based OS, Apple based OS, Ubuntu and few others. These all operating systems are more like the same except Ubuntu which is an open source OS for developers. Unlike Ubuntu OS most of other operating systems are market based profit earning systems which are more product oriented eventhough customers reviews and thoughts were taken. Ubuntu OS gave developpers to access the source code and develop many interesting features which are dedveloped according to customers demands from different regions. According to many source of news in many countries they have developed Ubuntu open source OS for their use to reduce huge cost which they have to spend on buying licence on other operating systems.
Microsoft and Apple based OS are the real competitors for the past years. They have come up with new features and innovations which gave satisfaction to users like us. One of the most promising OS from Microsoft is Windows 7 & Windows XP Which are bug free in many ways. Apple OS, in other hand, is a virus free OS in many different ways compare to Windows OS.
Competition always grows in a free market. One of the example for this is the new coming and challenging Google operating system which was announce and to be released in few months. Unlike any other operating system Google operating system, Chrome OS, it is based on cloud computing. Many years back developpers had this idea but they were unsure whether it will be a successful way to run an OS on such a way. But today Google have come up with this new innovative technique to challenge the OS development
Today Chrome OS have put the pressure on hardware developing companies to set a feet on the line where Chrome stand. It is something that had never happened in the past. It means we will be experiencing new ideas of hardware development which will make the market so competitive and efficient. More than that we will be able to enjoy much more advantages.
As the Chrome OS appears customers do not have to spend huge cost on upgrading hardwares. Because every hardware which we need will be on cloud. For example external hard drive and internal hard drive which we use today also will be in cloud. We will get unlimited storage facilities in a cloud computing which will minimize the use of thumb drives and Hard Drives for storage facilities. More than that Chrome will be always connected to the cloud and we do not have to think about carrying from one place to other. It will be any where we go. We will be able to access everything we do, we share, we store on anywhere we access Chrome OS. So, to day, the tech market is really very interesting and promising enough to make us feel good.

March month have always become an interesting month. Many outstanding things happen in the month of March. One of the example is the first PSP hack by Dark Alex. The custom firmware he made refers to M33 which is referred to the month of March as per many blogger. March 2011 is also going to be a cool month with the release of most awaiting phone for the gaming lovers. Once it was a dream of some people but never thought it going to come on their way but Sony made the dreams of them fulfilling. It is named as XPERIA PLAY.
Xperia Play is a mobile phone with the first ever gaming pad like PSP. It is loaded with Android OS and included features of PSP in the game module. It loaded with Google Android version 2.3 which we call as Ginger Bread, the latest version of Android Os for a mobile phone. It have a Ram of 512MB from which 380MB is allowed for user and other for system use. More than that it have a 1GIG processor. Therefore this mobile phone is powerful enough to load PSP games without any doubt if it have a good graphic hardware which cannot be confirmed yet.
As we look in to other features it have a Camera of 5MP, Internal memory of 400MB, Java through third party applications, 4 inch screen which is huge and 31 hours of music play. So, it is an promising mobile phone from Sony Ericssion for those who need it badly. I can say this portable device is great to enjoy and it will be worth buying other than any other device. So will be looking forward the price range of it and if i got any other information i will share it with you.
Nintendo 3DS are hitting the market on 27th March 2011. It is the first portable 3d gaming device that is going to lead in the market. Nintendo 3DS have the capability to show 3D features to our naked eyes without any 3D glass or any other material. Recently we have heard about the next generation PSP, but those also do not confirm whether they have the 3D capability.
According to rumors Nintendo 3DS can hold it’s power up to 5 hours with the game play. Therefore this portable 3D game system is worth for gaming lovers. Now pre-orders are available in eBay and other online web stores and it cost around $350. So those who want to get the item as soon as it available on the market hurry and make the pre-orders or else can wait till 27th March 2011 which is the official date to hit the market.
We have hearing about Nokia and Microsoft having a deal in developing windows based Nokia phones. If this is going to happen it will be one of the hitting moment for the cell phone industry for the year 2011. Nokia is one of the best developers with a huge range of products in the market today. If they could load Windows7 on their handy tools we will be able to enjoy such a great operating system without spending lot of money. If we are trying to buy a windows7 based mobile phone today in the market, we have to spend more than $300 which is quite lot compare to other devices.
We have hearing about Nokia developing an OS called MeeGo. MeeGo is an operating system that Nokia develops normally to run on Tablets rather than cell phones. But it is possible that it can load on mobile phones like Nokia N900 and other powerful devices. According to rumors MeeGo will be able to run Symbian based Applications & Games. Therefore if it comes that way, we will enjoy a lot of advantages over other devices.
With the development of MeeGo and agreement with windows based Nokia devices , question remains on Symbian OS. Symbian OS is the only operating system which gave access to lot of new innovative software in almost every category. Therefore we will be happy to see a day Nokia raises again and make a huge change.
Today we experience graphically high and competitive mobile operating systems roaming the market. One of the example is Google android. Android made a huge impact on the mobile phone industry with it’s interesting open source software which leads to open the market like never before. Even though such innovations on software side arise there are demands which needed on hardware sides or accessories side. One of them is the battery we use as drinks for the mobile phones to blink.

In a near future we will see gaming mobiles including XPERIA PLAY which is marketed as PSP phone for the couple of months. Now it’s been announced formally but question remains about the battery power of this mobile system. With the normal battery technology today we have, it can hold up to only 2 hours of game play. Therefore we need to boost the out dated battery to fit the hole of today’s market.
I was wondering whether i can have my own home cinema with a small budget. I got few questions in my mind whether it’s going to be possible or not. To get answer for this I searched the whole internet to get an answer. But i was not able to find a way that will be budgeted enough to setup a HD cinema for my home. But i found a way to setup my home cinema with normal resolution which is fair enough to enjoy my home theater. At first i thought it will be a wastage of bucks. PSP updates have been hitting the internet very rapidly theses days. Many updates and hacks, new firmwares and so on. All of theses hitting hacks have been arises as a result of TN-HEN, a homebrew enabler which have the capability to access kernel mode. Unlike the HBL (Half Byte Loader) TN-HEN gives the direct access to install custom firmwares. Here is the latest updates of TN-HEN for Firmware 6.20. If you have a firmware version lower than 6.20 i recommend to update to 6.20.
